Celebrating 10 Years

Celebrating+10+Years

Wow! Has it been 10 years already? Time flies when you're having fun… and working hard.

2002 saw the birth of ViewSource Media. To think only a short time ago, well 10 years, our office started out as a home based business. In 2004 we moved into a small office on St. Matthews Avenue sharing with another business, rent free. Yes, free. Those were the days. We were two strong at that time. Realizing quickly that we needed extra hands, we hired a student from the Red River College Work Practicum program. Shortly after, we hired another graphic designer and were working as a group of four with outside help from freelance web developers.

In 2006 VSM needed more space and a better location. We thought about the downtown gig but weren't too excited about the parking and high rent. We also wanted to do something different than our competitors as most were downtown. We found a neat little office space on Academy Road near Kenaston and decided to make the jump.

Shortly after the move, ViewSource Media added a full time website developer. After a brief stint in the new digs we realized again, we needed more space so we moved to our current location.

Our current spot is great. Lots of room, more exposure and a nice boardroom. We face Academy Road, look over Ash on the side and have a direct connection to Academy Bowling Lanes - great when we need to work off some steam. We love the spot and love the vibe Academy Road brings to our business. We are now six strong and continue to grow.

So there you have it, 10 years in a nutshell. Thank you to our friends, family and of course our clients for their continued support. We wouldn't be here without you. If you're looking for graphic design, printing or website design services, give us a call or email us at your convenience. We'd love to meet with you and help with your marketing needs.
